Hi! My name is Lily Hillman and I am thrilled to be continuing my teaching journey at Dancers Unlimited. I am a 2023 graduate from Mooresville High School. I danced at Dancers Unlimited from the time I was 2 till my senior year. I have trained under Lynette Bruton all throughout my 16 years at DU. I have worked with numerous teachers/choreographers such as Carissa Wilson, Ashley Rogers, Denise Wall, Jamie Goodwin, and many more. I have been trained in jazz, tap, ballet, contemporary, hiphop, and lyrical. I am attending college at Mitchell Community College here in Mooresville working towards a Business degree to get me one step closer to my goal of owning a dance studio in the future. I assisted Lynette Bruton throughout high school and I also worked the front office at Dancers Unlimited my senior year. I am the teacher of our STEPS program here at Dancers Unlimited which is one of my biggest accomplishments. I assisted with this program from the time I was 8 until senior year when I had the opportunity of taking over the program.
Hi, my name is Jordan Brown and I teach ballet and dance team prep at Dancers Unlimited! I also choreograph our annual Nutcracker!
I was trained in jazz, tap, tumbling and classical ballet for 15 years where I performed in many shows including The Nutcracker, The Little Mermaid, Cinderella and annual recitals. After graduating High School I attended East Carolina University where I was a member and captain of the Nationally Ranked Dance Team. During my time with the team we placed top three at NDA Nationals three years in a row in the Pom division. I was also honored to have been named an All American by NDA my senior year. Upon graduating from ECU, I auditioned for the Carolina Panthers NFL Cheer Team, the TopCats. I cheered with the TopCats for 4 years and was named Rookie of the Year during my first season. Outside of dance, I enjoy spending quality time with my husband Clay, and dog, Goose!
Hi everyone!! My name is Brianna Zorn, but I am honored to be Miss Bri to so many sweet dancers. This is my 4th season teaching for DU, where I choreograph, drill technique, teach various dance styles, and place a large emphasis on health and fitness for dancers. My students all know I loveee a conditioning class, lol! I grew up a competition dancer, received my BS in Professional Studies from UNCC, and have now lived my dream as an NFL Cheerleader for the Carolina Panthers! I just completed a fabulous rookie season and am preparing to audition right now for year 2. When I’m not dancing, you can find me teaching Pure Barre, lifting at the gym, or enjoying some sort of iced coffee or energy drink:)
Anna Shoaf has loved dance since she was three years old. Over the years, she’s had the chance to grow through dance conventions, competitions, and being part of a close-knit dance community. Anna continued dancing at Appalachian State University, where she was a member of the university’s dance team all four years. She served as co-captain her junior year and head captain her senior year, experiences that deepened her passion for both dancing and leading.
Last season was Anna’s first year on staff at DU, where she had the opportunity to choreograph competition routines. Her award-winning choreography was recognized across group, solo, and duet performances, and she thoroughly enjoyed the experience. She now finds so much joy in teaching, choreographing, and encouraging young dancers as they discover their own passion for dance.
